The face behind The company

My name is Masie Ertel, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve been captivated by the breathtaking beauty of nature. My imagination has always soared wildly, fueling a creative outlook that colors every aspect of my life. It wasn’t until I landed my first job working with plants and flowers that I truly found a way to fuel that loud creative side within.

Since I was 16, I've immersed myself in the world of florals and greenery, soaking up knowledge like a sponge under the mentorship of the owner of plant shop: Root 31 in Westfield, IN. Her guidance over the past five years has shaped my expertise, and now, at 21, I proudly consider myself a floral design and plant expert. But make no mistake—my journey of learning is far from over. This industry is full of endless discoveries waiting to be uncovered.

Floral design feels like second nature to me. From an early age, I’ve been enchanted by the fundamental elements of art—color theory, textures, and the powerful stories they tell. With years of practice behind me, I’ve honed my own distinctive style, crafting designs that capture the essence of my clients and express their unique stories through botanical artistry.

Currently, I own over 50 plants, having nurtured hundreds of varieties throughout the years. Though I've now learned the value of curating my collection to fit my personal lifestyle, my passion for plants remains boundless. My ultimate goal is to inspire others to discover their green thumbs, empowering them to cultivate their own collections tailored to their needs and personal style.
